Just arrived is this beautiful Daimler Double Six . A last of the line x300 model that were produced in exceptionally small numbers , in fact we struggled to find anything for sale similar at this moment in time .
Finished in a timeless combination of Westminster Blue over a cream piped leather interior . It has had only 4 owners from new and comes with a fantastic history boasting 21 services in its lifetime including a large service only last week including all 12 spark plugs replaced, fresh oil and power steering fluid and all filters changed . As you would expect it drives beautifully with no warning lights or unwanted knocks from the suspension. Sales price will also include a fresh 12 months mot and 2 new rear tyres as the sidewalls are showing signs of cracking although they have excellent tread .
Less than 1000 of this model were made in total for the whole world and this one has completed just over 77000 miles from new, documented and warranted , all books are present as is the original sales brochure , old v5’s , invoices and mot’s it is a very genuine car indeed .
The body of the car presents very well as a whole , there is no rot/ rust anywhere , Even underneath the usual problem areas - jacking points and front footwells are completely solid so we will be giving the underside a full clean off and waxoyl treatment prior to a successful sale . The body has a few minor chips to the drivers door edge and some minor parking dents swell as a small scuff to the lower front bumper but nothing that detracts from the overall look of the vehicle .
Inside it is absolutely stunning and testament to how well built these Browns Lane built cars were , everything works , all the leather is lovely and supple and the walnut veneers are perfect with absolutely zero delamination . Headlining has sagged slightly in the rear above the rear window so if you want it perfect you would perhaps regale that part .
It is of course fully HPI clear and as stated drives very well , and test drive/ inspection is more than welcome .
