Daimler 250 V8, first registered December 1968, finished in Signal Red with black interior with 58800 miles. Previous owner spent quite a considerable amount of money on the car, including a full bare metal respray, several years ago, rebuilt autobox, new power steering box, new rear springs, new brakes all round, tyres, suspension parts, radiator and numerous other parts.
Overall condition is very good for a car which is almost 58 years, however needing some minor fettling to improve it further. I recently drove the car 20 miles from the owner address and car didn’t miss a beat. Being critical I would say the car needs a pair of rear wheel bearings and front wheel alignment as it appears that the track rod ends are relatively new and possibly the tracking wasn’t set.
As with all vintage cars, there are further bits and pieces always needed and please remember this isn’t a fully restored car. It is a good clean and very presentable Daimler which has had the expensive work already done.
