Description
The Renault Floride hailed as one of the prettiest coupes of its day.
Promoted by Brigitte Bardot, the Dauphine engined Floride though not blistering in its pace was and still is a joy to drive.
Arguably the prettiest car Renault have made to date.
This particular example has been dry stored for a number of years and as such needs a degree of refurbishment rather than restoration.
The car starts and runs, engaging both forward and reverse gears.
Areas of note requiring attention are an overhaul of the brakes which currently do not function and a seized water pump. There is some damage to the passenger seat material
This could be very usable and appreciate with only a short amount of time and small amount of money invested.
The car looks to be mostly complete with only some small areas of bodywork to attend too though storage and transportation rather than anything more untoward.
The vehicle due to its age is both tax and mot exempt.
The Floride very much needs an appreciative owner to bring this car up to a usable condition at which point it will certainly be appreciated by all who see it.
Though the vehicle is located in the North East of England delivery nationwide can be discussed at an additional fee.
Viewing is highly recommended and there is just enough time required and summer left to see this out this show season.
Included is a hardtop which requires restoration and the condition of the soft top is excellent with only a single press stud requiring attention.
Walkaround videos are available to aid the sale.
