Description
Finished in gleaming black and chrome with black leather interior, this is a non-overdrive MGC with disc wheels. This car was first registered in May 1968 and has covered 102, 200 miles. In that time it has had only four registered owners (current owner since 2012). There is an extensive history file and a full set of MOT certificates up to June 2026. It underwent a major body restoration in August 2012, with only minor micro blisters now in a couple of places and a patina appropriate to its age. There is some scratching on the driver’s side window.
In recent years the car has had annual check-ups by an MG specialist (MGOC 5 star). The car has had numerous genuine replacement parts over the years, most recently (2025) new clutch master and slave cylinders. It has some upgrades including electronic ignition and Gaz telescopic shock absorbers all round. This is a very clean and presentable example of this rare MG Roadster (around 600 still registered). The combination of black and chrome bodywork and black leather interior make it a great looking car. Everything is in good working order with minor blemishes but no unsightly areas or mechanical problems. The MOT record has been maintained and now expires on 21 June 2026.
