Description
A 1966 Triumph T120R Bonneville with matching engine and frme numbers. This mororcycle was imported form the USA and first registered in the UK in December 2018. It was subject to full rebuild at this point but then it became part of a deceased persons estate. I bought it in April and recommisioned it, new oils, battery , tappets checked etc. I replaced the Amal concetrics for the correct monoblocs and fitted the correct west coast air filter. Tyres are fine loads of tread and not craked. It has had replacement SS spokes fitted at some point but still has the original Dunlop Rims which you may wish to rechrome over winter? It benefits from a modern regulator / rectifier and electronic ignition. I have used it daily in the nice weather and it starts first kick without fail and ticks over nicely. Change through the geors without crunching
Cosmeticcaly the bike is in good conditon, frame has been previously powder coated as has the oil tank and side panel. The petrol tank has been professionally finished in the correcte white with grenadier red stripes. However, at some point during its storage the top of he tank has been chipped there are no dents to the tank I have repaired it but unfortunately the colour doesnt match (please see photo) I am sure it could be touched up professionally but most people dont notice it. all in all a lovely 1966 T120R ready for summer. I have the V5 in my mame and a dating certicate from the TOC. There is a file of various receipt that will go with the motorcycle. I dont particulary want to sell this bike so I wont accept silly offers.
