UK RHD 1974 Datsun 260Z
A rare chance to own a well-preserved piece of automotive history: the Datsun 260Z combines timeless 70’s styling with legendary Japanese engineering.
This car was supplied new to the UK in 1974 and retains its factory specification with matching numbers and correct colour (Pacific Blue Metallic).
I purchased the car in 1984 and used it regularly for 10 years. By this time some of the bodywork was showing signs of corrosion and I managed to source some original rust-free panels from the U. S. A. which I had professionally fitted. Subsequently the whole car was resprayed in its original colour.
After this, the car was garaged and used much less frequently – becoming more of a ‘weekend car’. Various mechanical parts have been replaced in recent years as required: suspension bushes, brake and clutch cylinders etc.
Since retiring 18 months ago, my financial position has changed considerably and I have reluctantly decided to sell my pride and joy.
