Owned for around 5 years now
Invoices for around 8k in my ownership
Which includes an extensive top end engine rebuild, service inspection 2.
Service stamps in the book up until 1999, around 130k. There’s an £1800 invoice from 99 which shows it had new cams fitted. Has not done much miles since then.
Bodywork’s in fair condition, seems to have had some paint at some point in its life, looks presentable but I wouldn’t say perfect.
Small crack on the nose cone.
Small crack on the rear screen in the corner and one of the rear lights.
She has unfortunately ran out of mot and I’ve not been able to finish her off due to other commitments.
The car runs and will drive without any issues, engine is really good.
However it has a battery drain. Something electrical is draining the power, potentially some wiring around the gm module/ relay module. If the negatives disconnected it starts ok, but if it stays connected it will not start, even though it has a new battery.
Gm module is currently disconnected therefore windows do not currently work.
It will also require some work to the rear suspension for the mot, arms, bushings etc.
There is also an occasional weeping of oil from the oil cooler, not a major leak but will leave a small drop if ran for a while.
Overall, it just needs some time going over the electrics to get it all working. Some work on the rear suspension and checks for leaks. So nothing too crazy, a lot of the hard work done.
No major rust anywhere and the engine is now healthy.
I hope it can go to a good home, someone that can give it some time and attention that it deserves.
Priced very well considering all the work done, it owes me a whole lot more so please no silly offers. It’s priced to sell!
