Offered for sale is my cherished 1965 Triumph TR4A, which I’ve owned since 2002. It’s now time for a new custodian to enjoy this well-sorted and characterful British classic.
This is an early live axle TR4A, originally exported to Long Beach, California, and repatriated to the UK in 1990. I hold the original export documents along with extensive US history, including receipts and correspondence from its original American owners.
Upon its return, the car underwent a full restoration and right-hand drive conversion by A&J Motors in Yorkshire—all documented with photographs and receipts.
I purchased the car in April 2002 specifically to take part in that year’s RAC Euro-Classic, and it has since covered many memorable tours across the UK and Europe.
Over 23 years of ownership, I’ve fastidiously maintained and sympathetically upgraded the car, while retaining its period charm and originality. Every piece of work has been fully documented, with all receipts carefully filed. The car will come with two folders of history and photographs.
