Rebuilt 1993 Land Rover Defender 90
This cherished vehicle has been owned by myself for 30 years.
I purchased the vehicle when it was 2 years old.
It has always been garaged well on a wooden floor.
Genuine Land Rover parts used whenever possible.
Fluids changed regularly.
I have kept the vehicle very original with the exception of the recent addition of a heritage grille and Keswick Green professional re-paint.
The vehicle has been rebuilt including the following:
Structure:
- New Galvanised chassis
- Galvanised bulkhead
- Galvanised seatbox
- Galvanised Doors with galvanised steel skins ( x 3)
- New door rubbers and stainless steel bolts
- Professional body off respray in Keswick Green
- New rear Load liner
- New genuine mudflaps
- Custom heavy duty galvanised side steps
- BF AT 245x75x16 tyres on deep dish steel wheels.
Meachanics:
- 200tdi Engine strip down and full rebuild
- Turbo refurbished
- Refurbished axles
- Replaced shocks and suspension
- New starter motor
- Recent all fluids changed
- Stainless steel exhaust
The majority of the rebuild took place 8 years ago. However the vehicle has only completed approximately a 1000 miles since, with regular movement.
The vehicle has had no MOT advisories since the rebuild including it's most recent one in June 2025.
There is a custom low profile roof rack that can be supplied with the vehicle also (galvanised and painted).
Relocation abroad is forcing a reluctant sale.
The vehicle drives crisp and is dry and clean underneath.
