This particular car was registered to its first UK owner in January 1992 and imported into Ireland in February of 2023 with just under 92, 000 miles on the clock backed up by an extensive UK service history, stamped service book and old MoTs. The car is finished in a beautiful shade of Cobalt Blue Metallic which makes it quite distinctive. Its fitted with Design 90 Alloys and the rarer and more desirable rear bridge spoiler found on the later 968.
The distinctive colour makes this 944S2 stand out and the car is a joy to rive on long journeys. With the sun-roof panel removed the car offers many of the advantages of open air motoring with none of the buffeting that the convertible may suffer from.
Since purchased in 2023 the car has been fitted with a Blaupunkt Milano Stereo which is in keeping with the original fitted to the car while now offering Bluetooth and Phone connectivity.
While the original Porsche steering wheel is offered with the car its currently fitted with a Club Sport Wheel from a Porsche 964 and this can be negotiated in addition to the purchase price if the buyer wishes. Since its importation in 2023 the car has been looked after by an independent Porsche Specialist King Customs & Auto Restoration Services (KCARS). It has had belts, water pump and tensioners replaced in 2023 and is currently taxed and NCT’d to March 2027.
The stamped Service Book shows that the car was maintained by Chariots Official Porsche Dealership, HR Owen, Millbroke Porsche and G. T Auto Porsche Specialist up to 90, 000 miles. The car then spent some time in storage before being offered for sale with 92, 000 miles in late 2022. Since then the car has been regularly serviced, had a full timing/ cam belt replacement including tensioners and water pump in August 2023. It was again serviced in October 2024 and when a new rear exhaust box was fitted and is currently taxed with an NCT to March 2027. New battery fitted Oct 2025. Current mileage is 100, 200.
Receipts, original manuals, a folder full of old MOT’s, and service invoices all come with the car confirming its history as a well maintained car. It comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirming the specification when built (11/ 10/ 1990) with blue leather seats and Cobalt Blue metallic paint.
The car is offered for sale privately and interested buyers can contact the vendor by phone or email.
