The old waxoyl was removed from the suspension etc on the underside of the car. The suspension was cleaned and the components were spray painted satin black as per original, then the suspension and subframes were treated to new waxoyl.
There was an intermittent fault with the electric seat adjuster on the drivers seat. Additionally there was an intermittent starting problem. The car was booked into the R129 Company at Biddenden Kent. They stripped offside door and fitted a new switch pack and repaired the wiring. They suggested doing the passenger side as well so a new switch pack for the seat adjustment was fitted. Turning to the starting problem an extensive check was carried out and a new ignition switch was fitted. No more problems now.
The hardtop has had a new headlining panel.
The underbonnet trim panel has been replaced.
A new steering lock has been fitted and retains the original keys.
In April 2013 the car went to the SL Shop in Warwickshire when a new blue hood was fitted and other repairs done.
