Description
D40 VPK is a time capsule example of a Mercedes-Benz 300SL, bearing a very modest 24, 000 miles on the odometer from new. This 1986 R107 left the factory with ABS, electric windows, heated wing mirrors, and the very expensive extra rear seats. It was built on the 10th January 1986 the same day as Mrs. Abbey Clancy was born, thirty years on, the car was bought by Mr Peter Crouch as a birthday present for his dear wife and enjoyed sparingly by the couple for a number of years.
Looking around this car, it is clear to see how carefully it has been stored and maintained, the Nautical Blue Metallic (929) paintwork holds a beautiful finish along with the matching hardtop. Removing the hood reveals a Dark Blue fabric soft top in excellent condition along with the Grey Leather (278) interior. The performance of the car on the road is in keeping with the aesthetic condition, it starts up and drives exactly as you would expect it from the factory.
