Fabulous Mini Jet Black. 68k miles on the clock, full engine and gearbox rebuild 2. 5 years ago. Mechanically very good indeed, runs really well always starts first time.
Passed MOT a couple of days ago, no advisories - needed a new tyre, ball joint sorting and rear break was binding, but all sorted now.
I have had it just over 2 years, only done a couple of thousand miles in it, not using it enough and I no longer have a garage which is needed.
Fully poly brushed new subframes uprated breakers, exhaust, manifold, cylinder head, carb, k&n filter and lots lots more.
£8k receipts and photos of when it was bare metal rebuild about 4 years ago.
Fun drive, pushing out about 80bhp.
Will be an historic vehicle in 18 months so no MOT or tax needed.
Had a new fuel pump last month and new steering rack 12 months ago.
Bad bits - body work is really solid overall, some small patches of rust starting to appear, but not bad at all. The car has a vinyl wrap and to be honest if I was keeping it I would get it resprayed. Still looks the part and will last many years before the bodywork need serious attention.
Most urgent thing is both doors need some attention and spot welding, see pictures
Sills been done, solid floor and boot, new subframes. Fully poly bushed. Quite a firm ride.
It's not perfect, but it is nearly 40 years old. Make a great runaround/ project for someone with the time and space.
