Lotus Elan SE Turbo 1991
Lotus Elan SE Turbo in excellent overall condition. The calypso red paintwork is very nice with only a couple of minor chips. The hood and rear screen are excellent, as are the wheels.
Underneath is also extremely clean, no leaks or rattles. It completed a 900 mile tour of France in May without missing a beat. So it drives and handles really well, no issues with the turbo.
The interior is also excellent, and benefitted from a leather retrim a few years ago (£1, 400) so the seats are much nicer than standard. Everything works as it should, and it has a Pioneer DAB radio, with CD and Bluetooth.
Always garaged in my ownership, and by the previous few owners.
It’s done 113k miles but has an amazing history file, from the original deposit and invoice with predominantly main dealer or Lotus specialist servicing. Since 2021 spenditure has been approx. £3, 500 which includes a new timing belt, fuel filter, various services, brake and handbrake work etc. It had another oil change in July.
Fully turnkey and ready to go, MOT til May 2026. Comes with a roof cover (handy as the seals aren’t the best), 2 keys, original handbook, trickle charger.
