This rare and collectible Toyota MR2 TF300 is one of the final UK run out editions of which there were only 300 made, each one bearing it's own number both stitched into the back of the headrests and a small badge under the 'frunk'
Number 122, was first registered on the 20th December 2006, and I think must be one of the latest registered Toyota MR2's. I believe it was 1st registered to the Toyota dealership, before being registered to it's first 'proper' owner on the 27th June 2007, who kept it until the 5th May 2014. I acquired the car on the 2nd January 2023.
Finished in Chilli red, with the optional extra 'TTE' bodykit the TF300 already had a great specification consisting of chrome rollover bar, TTE sports exhaust, part leather/ part alcantara interior, along with special TF300 badges.
TF122 has a remarkably low mileage of only 6522 miles, and surely must be a future collectors item and set to increase in value. It comes with Toyota service history up to 2013 at 4582 miles with a number of invoices and receipts, subsequent to that the owner I purchased it from had serviced it themselves - there is an invoice from 2021 for spark plugs - I'm told that he used genuine parts when it was serviced.
In my ownership I have had a new mohair soft top fitted in November 2023.
The car comes complete with all handbooks, service book, 3 x sets of keys (2 remote keys, and one non remote, along with the metal keycode tag), and also some Toyota MR2 brochures/ price list.
MOT expires on the 15th May, 2026.
All in all, a very collectible, but also fun 2 seater sports car, with incredibly low mileage, ready to be used and enjoyed, or stored for future generations.
Unfortunately for me, the purchase of a 2nd home which has turned into a restoration project has meant I've been unable to have the time to enjoy it, and now I need the funds to finish the restoration.
