Description
Triumph T120C 650cc, stored in a collection since having completed a no expense spared restoration 6 years ago - hence in stunning condition.
During the restoration, only the very best specialists were used, including:
Paint by Geoff at Paintwork Express (renowned show winning Triumph paintwork specialist).
Ace Classics - suppliers of many top quality parts.
Exhaust by Armours - this being made to bespoke supplied drawings.
Seat by R K Leighton - the best in the business.
Genuine Amal Monobloc 376/ 257 carburettors supplied by Amal Carburettors.
Lucas K2FC magneto refurbished by Tony Cooper.
Speedo and rev counter refurbished by Chronometrics Ltd.
Wheels rebuilt with polished stainless spokes and fitted Dunlop K70s.
Engine and gearbox rebuilt by specialists.
12 volt electrics, with solid state regulator/ rectifier. Plus much more...
Matching frame, engine and gearbox numbers - these being verified by the original factory records - which show that this particular example was completed at the Triumph factory in December 1960, and, within 10 days, was shipped to TriCor on the East coast of America.
When dismantled, the engine displayed very little wear, which was reassuring.
Although not having done any road mileage, the engine has been run up to operating temperature on a number of ocassions, and usually(!) starts 1st kick.
All documentation in place (inc UK registration & number plate) + a comprehensive folder of invoices etc. documenting the rebuild.
This is a very nice example of perhaps one of the best looking models made by Triumph, and is only offered for sale due to the need to thin the collection.
Would definitely take pride of place in any collection.
Serious enquiries only please (no p/ exs).
