Description
Alfa Romeo Giulia Super 2000
White with custom livery.
Track prepared but fully road legal classic Alfa Romeo, which has previously competed in a domestic historic race series in South Africa. I purchased this car around 4 years ago with the intention of entering a race series here in the UK, but other commitments have meant I've only used this car on the road during my ownership.
It features a 2l Nord engine producing approximately 135/ 140 bhp.
1. Cam specs - 278 degree duration, 11. 3mm lift
2. Offset small-end bushes on conrods to raise compression
3. Pistons pocketed for valve clearance
4. Head has been ported
5. Balanced bottom-end
6. Lightened Flywheel
7. Custom made Powerflow branch
The suspension, brakes and cooling have all been upgraded too, with a stainless steel radiator fitted. There is a 4. 55 limited slip differential installed as well as a larger style fuel tank for longer running and an electric fuel pump.
A set of 14" Momo Vega alloy wheels are fitted, with 4x brand new Dunlop 185/ 60/ 14 sports tyres.
Stripped out interior featuring a full cage (bolt in, so could be removed if desired) a pair of matching bucket seats and a race harness for the driver as well as a fire extinguisher.
Cosmetically the car is in very tidy condition, there is some evidence of recent-ish paint which was done shortly before I purchased it and a couple of instances of micro-blistering which unfortunately happened during the shipping of the vehicle from South Africa to the UK. The bottom of the car is very clean however, without the heavy corrosion you would expect to see on a UK vehicle of this age.
Tax, MOT and ULEZ exempt of course based on the vehicle's age.
Any questions are welcome. The vehicle was not supplied to me with a history pack but I have of course retained the receipts for all work / parts that I have done during my ownership including some work to the electrics, a new set of front brake calipers and general maintenance items.
