An absolutely fabulous 1975 series 3 Land Rover, correctly registered as an Historic Vehicle so Mot/ tax exempt. Otherwise affectionately known as “Giggle” (GGL) Giggle is a very genuine Land Rover believed to be mostly in its original patinized paint & even possibly with the original engine mileage as it sat for years prior to restoration, of course this can’t be guaranteed.
Giggle was professionally restored onto an excellent quality galvanized chassis using all new parts where required throughout. The list is available & extensive! & the new softer parabolic springs & suspension all around make for a much smoother ride.. “Giggle” was then sold via the very reputable dealers Rivolve/ Nene Overland as seen online & annually at Goodwood Revival, this was on 3/ 10/ 2023 to its previous owner but only for a short period of time due to the gentleman immigrating prior to me taking ownership on 13/ 03/ 2024
I’ve been using him 3/ 4 days a week since, for work & leisure as I have all through winter & summer in all weathers and he’s never let me down. I’ve clocked up over 4000 trouble free miles.
Further to the many improvements he’d already had when I got him, I’ve made a few more by adding a much more responsive & economical new Webber carb, new alternator and a recent refurbished / adjusted braking system with two new wheel cylinders, shoes & front shocks as required.
A full inspection & engine service has also been carried out, new dizzy cap, leads, plugs, points etc.. and all fluids checked and lubrication as required. The pucker Avon Tyres are in good condition all round.
The interior is very clean and tidy, the dash & controls are original and the interior was fitted throughout prior to my purchase in exmoor trim.
Everything works on this Landy as it should and it is ready for trial, it drives and pulls up lovely & straight with a great gearbox, I’ve driven him hard but looked after him well.
This truly is a great & real useable solid all round land rover, not a show queen! and I speak from driving it as a private seller not as a dealer. You will not be disappointed! Any more Q’s send me a message or just give me a call.
