MoT until 3/ 3/ 2026.
Purchased 30 years ago from a main dealer.
In daily use since we first purchased. Metallic light blue (Topaz). Some damage to the lacquer on the paintwork on roof/ bonnet due to trees/ birds but otherwise the bodywork is in pretty good condition for its age. All 4 tyres new in 2023. Some wear and tear e. g. radio, central locking and rear heated screen no longer work, driver’s seat is worn, gear knob is loose and gearbox synchromesh 2nd to 3rd can’t be rushed. At the last MoT there were a number of minor advisories (we have had a very enthusiastic MoT tester at our local garage) the most pertinent being a slight radiator leak. However, at present there seems to be no obvious loss of coolant. Despite a few niggles it has been an incredibly reliable car over the past 30+ years and a perfect practical run about for a new owner. We will be very sad to see it go.
