I bought this Saab on 15. 12. 1990 @ 36, 000 miles from the first owner and used it until 1999 @ 158, 500 miles
I then sold it to Two Stroke Saab on 24. 07. 2020 who carried out a £6300 restoration completed 14. 10. 2020 @ 163, 500 miles
I re-purchased 06. 08. 2021 as 'the best in the UK' with their price guide £13000 and since garaged, MOT expired 26. 07. 2024 @ 164, 000 miles with almost complete Full service records and MOT history.
inc. Fuel system rectification, brakes, anti roll bar, coolant system, crankshaft pulley.
replacement clutch, slave, master and hose.
walnut dash, centre console and door cards
new brakes, roll bar bushes etc., coolant hoses, crankshaft pulley
new headlining, C pillars and sunroof panel.
rust from wheel arches, rear lower panels, fuel filler and car floor removed
full underseal and new tyres. Plus 30+ more jobs on work sheet and further 'cosmetics' carried out by the two specialists who worked on the car. (see paperwork)In it's day this Saab was a 'head turner' and is still as apparently less than 10 now remain on the road.
The heater fan needs attention, Alpine CD radio powers up but no volume and wheels would do with re-furbishment.
