A very sad sale - however I need to free up the funds for other ventures. I am sure I will regret it one day!

Registered Historic Vehicle - Tax and MOT exempt (Last MOT was 3 years ago)
Owned since March 2021 - purchased from a collection in Yorkshire.
Only modifications from standard are:
Custom stainless steel exhaust (Longlife Exhausts Basingstoke)
MK2 XR2 steel wheels with Nankang 175/ 50/ 13’s
XR2 steering wheel
Original steel wheels and steering wheel to come with the car if wanted - however the tyres will need replacing for road use.
Garaged in all my ownership until March of this year - part of the reason for sale.
4 Oil and filter changes in my ownership including 1 major service (new leads, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor arm, points and condenser). It has had a new ignition coil, alternator and belt, a replacement stainless steel coolant pipe, new top and bottom hoses plus a new thermostat. It has been wax-oiled inside the doors and shuts etc (I would have said from new)
Very original car, the body work and interior are very good - a true survivor. Plenty of age related scratches but something you wouldn’t see until you are very close. The running gear and underside aren’t mint but perfectly usable - no signs of previous welding underneath.
The engine bay is not perfect and if I were keeping it and had the time and space I’d love to tidy it up. The only thing that doesn’t work is the rear window wiper and washer jet. There is some surface rust on the bottom of the doors on the inside and a tiny oil leak which has been present since I have had the car.
Ready to drive to a show of your choice. I would have no problem driving this car across the country - something I have done on a number of occasions for shows.
