Description
1933 Austin Light 12/ 4 Harley saloon.
For sale is my Harley saloon that received a full body-off restoration about 30 years ago with photographic record.
The car was restored to a high standard and is still in very nice condition.
The interior had a full re-trim in leather, new head lining, door cards and carpets. The interior is still superb condition.
The exterior paint has some blemishes when you look closely at it but is generally still in very good condition with a nice shine. It has a sliding sunroof.
The chassis was fully painted during restoration and is still in clean condition. The gearbox is the original 4-speed non-syncromesh box and is a joy to drive. Although its non-syncro its an easy box to use. The tyres are all in good condition with plenty of tread. The rod and cable brakes work well and pull the car up straight.
A comfortable car to drive and I have done several trips of 120 miles.
I can deliver (drive) the Austin to the new owner up to about 120 miles if you then give me a lift to the nearest train station.
