Description
Our Daimler is in very good overall condition (I know condition is subjective) but with a little tlc could be an excellent condition show car or left as is for use as a daily driver!
Because the Daimler has not been driven very far for a while, it has not been mot'd for a few years. And due only to this lack of use I would recommend a good inspection before going too far on the road.
However, It starts on the button and sounds great. It runs, drives and stops nicely and gear changes feel smooth. No obvious knocks, bangs or concerning noises!
The car has been dry stored during current ownership and although it has done very few miles it has been started regularly and is dearly loved.
It has had lots of work over its 60 years and some is documented.
The paintwork is good overall but there are a few places where it is cracking or bubbling/ blistering as shown in the photos. The colour is a light green.
The interior is looking a bit tired and grubby in places but its still a lovely place to be and the tan leather seats are still very comfortable.
The door keys have been lost at some point but the locks have not been changed. There are 2 ignition keys and 2 petrol cap keys.
The brightwork is generally good including the lovely wire wheels, but would benefit from a clean or a re-chrome if you're aiming for mint. Personally, I think the honest classic look really suits the car.
Weekend viewings are welcome by appointment.
8 previous owners.
V5 logbook present
Genuine reason for sale as the current owner (my father in law) can no longer drive. You're going to love it because its a beautiful Daimler 250 V8!
