Alfa Romeo 105 2000 GTV, prepared to Fast Road specification using Alfaholics components and maintained by Ian Ellis Classic Alfas.
Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV in excellent condition, having been prepared to Fast Road specification in 2018 by well renowned Alfa 105 specialist Ian Ellis. In doing so Ian fully rebuilt the engine with high compression pistons and liners, fast road camshafts, uprated valve springs, replacement bearings and engine and carb mounts. Finishing the powertrain upgrades with a Alfaholics stainless steel sports full exhaust.
Accompanying the rebuilt engine, the suspension was upgraded with Fast Road suspension kit including Koni dampers, adjustable top arms, poly castor bushes and a full geometry set-up.
Since the work was completed the car has travelled only 4000 miles, in which time it has been routinely serviced by Ian Ellis in 2021, 2022 and 2024. See pictures for detailed history.
It is simply a joy to drive, with a combination of useful low-down torque, signature Alfa induction roar and an intoxicating top-end. Lower ride height aside the car looks completely stock, however from a performance and handling perspective it is has been professionally enhanced.
Having been originally registered in Portugal in 1973, it was imported to the UK and registered with the DVLA in 2015 as a result of the car’s Portuguese owners relocating to the UK. I purchased the car in 2021. It is only used in dry weather and is professionally stored when not in use.
The car is registered as a historic vehicle with the DVLA and is therefore road tax, MOT and ULEZ exempt.
