Description
1991 PEUGEOT 205GTi 1. 6 (Phase 2)
Alpine White with grey/ red interior. 40000miles from new, 3 p/ owners (two for same family). C/ locking, PAS, sunroof (working) & stereo.
I’ve owned this since 2013, car is in superb original condition inside and out (not concours/’showroom’ though) complete with factory stickers.. Fully rustproofed (Dinitrol).
Free of accident damage, rust & silly mods, never welded. Stock except for immobiliser, S/ Steel exhaust (£500+) & Goodridge brake hoses.
Regularly maintained (logged), just had major service (all oils etc). Cambelt, tensioner & w/ pump replaced two years ago. MoT until mid July 2026, taxed currently.
Drives superbly as you’d expect, the 1. 6 is in my opinion better than the 1. 9 being freer revving and sweeter thus much more fun to drive – this is my fourth one since 1992. Plus spares are easier to get/ cheaper & the 14” wheels look much more in proportion than the 15’s (IMO anyway). Having done only 40Kmls, all the power is still present and correct, must be one of the lowest mileage examples left on the road.
Comes with V5, old MoT’s, OE book pack, spare keys plus other documentation, sales brouchures etc.
Not being used much now due to family commitments (aging parents) & my early retirement has led me to reduce the number of cars & bikes I have and concentrate of just a couple. Plus there is still a few cars I want to own in the next few years before they either become too expensive or impossible to own because some genius in government either taxes them to death or just bans them for being too entertaining. So after 13 years, it’s time to let someone else enjoy it.
Any questions, please ask. Based near Winchester in Hampshire just off the M3. One of the last true original, unmolested, low milers left. That's the reason I bought it in the first place. Value will only go up in the future.
