Description
Supplied new by Stratstone of Mayfair in 1986 for delivery to a London book publishing company
This is the fuel injected 4. 2 Sovereign model with all usual refinements including electric sliding sunroof, Sundym glass, lambswool rugs etc..
Presented in Tudor white with contrasting mulberry red leather interior and looks really smart in this colour scheme together with the original pepper pot alloy wheels. It retains its original Clarion stereo, the leather is original and has never been refinished, there are no rips or tears just a nice patina. Cigar lighters and ashtrays all unused!
The car is unrestored and does not require a restoration, it shows no signs of any rot only the odd bit of surface corrosion in places. The lacquer on the wood veneers is lifting which is typical on these.
The car will be 40 years old in January and at which point will qualify for historic classification meaning that no MOT will be required, Tax will be free and will also be ULEZ exempt which is handy if you happen to live in London!
All handbooks, service book, MOT certificates are present to warrant the genuine 80, 000 miles from new. Current MOT certificate runs to Aug ‘26
In summary a really nice effortless drive and lovely place to be in that red leather cabin, would make a great occasion car or even a daily driver.
