Description
An unusual MGBGT in Carmine red that is a 1980 car from the final few months of production, but was only registered in the UK in 1983 because the first owner was in the Army posted to Germany. It is, of course Tax and MOT exempt.
I purchased the car about 18 months ago locally as the last owner became ill and couldn’t work on the car. A lot of work has been completed to a high standard including:
Full stainless exhaust
New brakes throughout with new master cylinder and front braided hoses.
X4 matching Goodyear 185/ 70 tyres
MGOC refurbished front shock absorbers, with spax rear conversion.
Lowered to chrome bumper height with new front springs.
Re bushed front and rear suspension items.
Plus a host of other components.
The car is very solid and benefits from, Kenlowe fan, lumenition electronic ignition, Alloy bonnet, MGOC full leather interior, virtually new carpets plus rubber mats.
The Heritage certificate shows matching numbers and the history file accurately accounts for the 142K mileage. The car comes with a very large and comprehensive history file showing a massive amount of historic work and details of previous owners.
