Selling my recently imported 1978 Datsun 810.
It's a Thai import, now fully UK registered, V5 in my name.
Runs and drives well - it was driven around 1000 miles before getting onto the boat in Thailand by a family member.
Dash has been replaced with a good condition UK one, so clocks now in MPH.
It has factory, working air con.
Interior is in good condition, wiring loom looks to be pretty original, no spliced cables etc.
No rot (that I've found) - chassis/ sills/ floors are solid.
L18 engine.
The bits I've replaced:
New battery
4 new tyres
Refurbished starter motor
New alternator belt
Brake master cylinder rebuilt with NOS parts
Rear brake wheel cylinders NOS
Brake shoes NOS
A pillar trim NOS
C pillar trim NOS
Front grille NOS
Oil filter NOS
Cleaned fuel tank out
Recent front brake pads
The bad bits (see pics):
Paint work needs attention (bonnet, roof, boot in particular)
Spare wheel matches others, needs tyre
Surface rust in places
Centre console has a radio slot cut out
Exhaust muffler has been removed (still not too loud though)
Mark on rear seat from a tyre sitting on it
Oil drip from engine, haven't looked from where exactly.
No door key
Viewing is encouraged, happy to take people on test drives as well.
