Selling my lovely Millenium Edition Elise S1, a 1 of 50 edition with dark blue 'Atlantis Blue' metallic paint, 111S wheels, wheel arch spats and headlamp covers. Blue Alcantara original seats are very comfortable. Registered at H. R. Owen in London on 20 January 2000. I'm the 6th owner having averaged 1000 miles a year since I bought it in July 2018 and it has never let me down.
The 118bhp K Series is standard with mods to the intake and exhaust being a K&N filter and Larini Club Sport exhaust which sounds great without being too loud. It has the S2 Bilstein suspension upgrade, fitted by the previous owner. I had a leaky rear damper and had it rebuilt by Bilstein in Leicester. The standard gear lever pushed into my left thigh in 5th so I fitted a shorter quick shift gear lever and upgraded gearbox cable connectors at the same time. I did a rear suspension fresh in 2020 with braided rear hoses and new pads all round, plus the cambelt, plugs, oil, and coolant service in 2021. I'll be doing the oil and filter before sale. It has a fully stamped history and current MOT from 6th June 2025. I only use it in the summer and it always stays in the garage overnight on trickle charge.
It drives really well, with areas of improvement being cosmetics - in particular, the front clam and sills have stone pecks and could do with a respray, along with a new badge. A front suspension fresh would be sensible at the same time. It also has the usual seat side bolster and sill cover wear on the driver's side.
The roof is in good condition (and stays in the garage) and I have bought a blue shower cap in case it is ever caught when parked in the rain.
In summary, it's an honest, ready to go, original Elise in a beautiful colour scheme. Fully stamped service history from registration. I bought an additional maintance record book to contiue the history after the original was full.
I bought it as it I have always been a big fan of the Elise S1, I liked the fact it was an original unmolested and unmodified example with no sign of a crash or track use. Being a Millenium Edition with the beautiful metallic dark blue paint and blue alcantara interior made it more special. The seats are slightly more padded than a standard early Elise S1 and are more comfortable. It sounds and goes really well and has scope for further improvement to the cosmetics, if that's what you'd like to do. If not, just get out and drive!
