Here is my rare 1987 Toyota GT Convertible. Price dropped due to OZ wheels being sold separately. so will come on the original wheels with brand new tyres
It is 1 of only 200 made for this model year. Factory strengthened at Toyota in Japan this was then sent to coachbuilders Voll in Germany for the Cabriolet conversion, then sent on to limited dealers in the UK where it commanded a much higher price than the standard GT.
My Celica GT is is excellent condition inside and out, and never taken out in the rain, it has lead a charmed life and the previous owner cared for it the same as myself with no expense spared. It comes with 2 keys and drives faultlessly a proper turnkey car. There are a few age related marks but they are minimal for nearly 40 year old car.

The Drive.
The 2. 0 twin cam produces 148BHP at 6400rpm so the exhaust is pretty fruity at high revs, something much missed nowadays so quite visceral with the roof down. It is a firmish ride but well planted as it should be but not bone shaking. Everything works including the heater which is very warm if needed. No knocks anywhere and have the confidence to drive anywhere. My car also benefits from electric door mirrors and windows.
The Roof.
The quirky roof is a manual pulldown roof with a hard plastic removable front part that stores in the boot. It takes approx 2 minutes to put it on or be removed.
