Mk2 golf driver 1. 6 petrol mot due august 2026
The golf has had 5 keepers in its life and 2 was this year the car was pulled out of a barn at the begining of the year where it had been hiding since 2000 and then i purchased it around march, since getting it home i have recommisioned it so that i could get an mot on it which it passed in august with no avisories recorded, the paintwork isnt tue best but the car is original apart from the new parts i had to fit.
New waterpump. and timing belt kit
Maln steel waterpipe replaced
New vacumm lines for carb
Replaced inlet water seal for choke
Replaced waxstat on choke system
New brake servo pipe
New radiator
New brake master cylinder
New flex brake pipes all round
New discs and pads front
New rear brake cylinders
New rear wheel bearings
New tyres all round
I fitted alot of these parts to make sure it was good for its test and didnt trust some of the old rubber parts so changed them, the car drives well for a 34 year old car and should see mot and tax exemption in 6yrs time The headlining fell out of the car and i tryed to fit new materual to the headliner and messed it up so it will need to have a new one fitted
