Original UK RHD Beetle Project

I'm rubbish with the wording but here goes my best shot...
Originally supplied to its 1st owner, an English 'land owner' for use around 'the estate'. It was never used out on the public roads, only on the owners estate land - and that’s the reason this has only covered about 6, 500 miles from new!!
It did however end up left out in some hidden corner of the estate and suffered from that, especially the floor pan section.
Eventually it was rescued and the 2nd owner carried out some fairly minimal welding to the body and changed out some bolt on panels but never got round to addressing the chassis / floorpan and it's presumed sadly found another home for the engine, then a number of years later sold the car to a friend of mine.
My friend, the 3rd owner, sourced an amazing replacement floorpan mostly in original paint and this was used to make good the original floorpan in order to retain the cars original numbers but got no further than that until the project was offered to me.
Keen to not miss out on it I jumped at the chance to own such a low mileage and still pretty original British RHD car, with the vision of a solid but heavily patina'd build. Problem was / is that it had to take its place in line and recent health issues mean it’s just not going to happen... time to let it go and see it done sooner, or later, rather than never.
From here I’ll let the pics do the talking, other than to just say - take a good long look at the pics that I can link you to. The floor pan is ready to come back off for a pretty easy build up and then choose what level you do the bodywork to; full on survivor left as near as possible to as is, make it solid with the heavy patina (I can highly recommend a couple of patina blender artist options to work some magic on this car), or get stuck right in to the metal work and do a full resto. It’s a project that can suit anyone’s taste but be sure it’s a project.
Also, just to add... the price is less than it owes me so don't offer a couple of hundred quid (because it’s rusty). A huge part of the price is due to the unbelievable original paint floor pan that this car now has and that along with the sum of the parts that are still with this car are easily worth more than the asking price – but break the car for parts – not a chance! This needs to survive!!
Being a '62 its still got its nice original pre reg number plate and I have the V5 in my name.
This car has, in effect, had 1 owner with the next 3 owners being enthusiastic enough to take on the project but not complete it... maybe you can!
£3500 ono
Its in the Midlands, England, United Kingdom;
I can offer a very good price on UK delivery and I can help with overseas shipping including delivery to any UK port.
Edit;
Nearly forgot - those super cool Volmac camping hinges are included too!
Edit 2;
This is an original matching numbers car but it has lost its engine in the past (I have a great complete 1600 twin port engine that can be offered to the new owner)
So the Chassis number (VIN), Registration plate number and gearbox number are all its original numbers and I do have a record of its original engine number although I don't have the engine unfortunately.
