A name that needs little introduction in the classic and enthusiast car world, the MGB is a true legend. This 1977 B GT is an exciting example of the breed that boasts a 3. 5 litre rebuilt V8 engine, 5 speed manual gearbox and some striking and tasteful modifications, making this a real head-turner.
The exterior is well, having been resprayed in a vibrant "Ruby Red" hue throughout and though generally very solid and presentable, the "semi professional" nature of the respray means there are some flawing to the finish and various overspray in places. The car also benefits from an aluminium MGC bonnet.
The interior is in much the same order, generally well preserved and clean with some lighter signs of wear commensurate with age, boasting a Webasto pull back rag top roof panel.
Mechanically this car appears fundamentally well. The V8 engine has been well cared for and according to the previous keeper of the car boasts new shells, rings, high lift cam, Edelbrock 500 carb and a 360 Offenhauser manifold. We have taken it for a short drive around our farm and it performed (and sounded) nicely; starting, running and stopping without issue. It further benefits from a rolling road setup and tune.
A photo of the parts list and works done has been attached to the listing.
With some of these V8 MGB`s now demanding figures well into the 30s and 40s, this one, at this price, should prove an absoluteLots of history and bills
