Renaults sports tourer of the 1960s .. the Caravelle.
Based on Renault 8 running gear with a very usable later R10 1300cc and 4 speed box.
This example is in need of a winters worth of love to make it ship shape for next Spring.
The car is near complete (rear bumper included) and starts on the button.
The bodywork as shown needs attention and though starting and there is a lack of power indicative of a car needing some tuning and servicing. Nothing a carb clean and service wouldn’t fettle I’m sure.
The hood does require some repairs or simply never plan to use the car in the rain … a hardtop is also included which is in need of some minor repairs.
Even in its current state it’s a great looking car and will afford its new owner some admiration at any car show or coffee meet.
Due to the outlined condition this car will require transporting to its new home which I am happy to facilitate nationwide for a separate fee.
