For sale i have my well desired, mark 1 1967, MGB GT in British Racing Green.
The vehicle started its restoration in 2021, where it was fully stripped, cleaned of rust and reinforced ready for paint. Proffesionally resprayed to the iconic BRG colour.
The car was then slowly assembled back.
Starting off with the mechanical side.
The entire drivetrain had received a proffesional refurbishment. From the engine to the wheels, components such as the suspension, drivetrain and wiring had underwent through extensive work before being inserted back into its chassis.
The engine is the iconic 1. 8L B-series, going through a full, professional rebuild. Ancillaries were bought new/ refurbished to accompany the rebuild. The fuel system received an in-depth clean, where the tank was refurbished, fitted with new lines into the SU carbs.
The interior is complete with new, mk1 seats, fresh carpets, dash, gauges and that sensational classic feel. The aroma of the classic interior will captivate you. The headliner is new from mgb hive, with new c pillar trims to accompany it. The interior is done to original mk1 spec. The boot floor is original from the car, in great condition, under it sits a brand new wire wheel as a spare.
Overall, the car has received immense detail and investment. However, it is not fully complete. It is 90% restored and requires some minute details such as:
-bonnet (Have the painted bonnet, but needs to be fixed as its bent from where the latches hold it)
-wiper motor
-horns fitted
-windshield trim
-1 door lock
-Bonnet latch
-calibrate tachometer
Other than that, the car will be fully restored.
I have all the parts required to assemble them.
The car is being sold as i intend to move locations, and need the vehicle sold. Also due to the lack of time i’ve had recently.
The car will also come with a joblot of original MGBGT parts that are worth well over 1000+ and a spare engine.
