I am selling this 1999 XJR 4. 0 V8 supercharged saloon in Mistral Blue Metallic with black leather interior.
Mileage is showing as 87, 412 but believe it be to more than that in reality. The online MOT history from 2006 appears correct however. In current use so this may change a little.
Recently passed the MOT after some underbody welding and replacement of the rear axle support brackets -common to Jags of this era.
I have also treated much of the underside with rust convertor to keep it at bay.
The paintwork is imperfect but presentable currently...
There are some nice touches to it-still has the original mobile phone and the under bonnet tool kit.
The engine has previously had the head gaskets replaced, together with the timing chain tensioners at a Jaguar Main dealer..
The car has two keys and two remotes. A really nice feature is the programming that allows for different steering wheel, seat and mirror positions depending on which remote you use...
The values of these cars continue to rise, and when you drive them you can understand why- the 370 horsepower brings such a smile to your face. 0 - 60 mph is 5. 4 seconds with a restricted top speed of 155 mph....
There are lots of You tube videos from various contributors raving about how great they are..
I have priced this at one of the cheapest available in the UK today.
It will make a terrific base to either drive as is or really work on bringing it up to a really high standard at a very reasonable budget.
It will come with the attractive registration plate V42 HKY, which in some ways is more suited to the later V 8 XJR... which is a 4. 2 of course.
