Beautiful Colour deep royal blue with chrome mirror removable T-tops, alloy wheels.
Comprehensive history file/ invoices/ MOT’s etc. Car imported into UK in 1988.
This is a well sorted reliable car that has been rebuilt/ refurbished from the chassis up. In excellent running order and a joy to drive.
Main restoration carried out during 2013-2016, and then the car returned to the road in 2019, with only minimal fair-weather use since.
Receipts for over £19, 000 in parts/ labour.
Chassis/ suspension restored by Corvette Kingdom – video record available.
Interior work, electric windows, etc also by Corvette Kingdom.
Engine refurbished by mechanic – rebore/ crank regrind/ new pistons/ bearings/ camshaft etc.
New Magnaflow exhaust system, shock absorbers. Brakes etc.
Recent new fuel pump, ignition coil and sender module, ignition leads, spark plugs, etc.
Also, new brake master cylinder and servo.
Just fitted a full set of four new tyres, the spare wheel also has a new tyre.
You may find a cheaper, nice-looking Corvette but I am pretty sure it will not have been sorted to the extent that this car has. This has been refurbished and money spent where it matters, ie, chassis/ suspension/ brakes/ engine, transmission etc.
Speedometer showing 44, 160 miles, but speedometer appears to have been changed in 1993. The MOT history shows the car having done 82, 016 miles in 1992, then 00263 miles in 1993.
The car has only done 8, 000 miles since the major restoration in 2013-2016.
Just a couple of minor things to do if you want to further improve the car, I suggest you could renew some of the stitching to the seat squab bases, and sort the fuel gauge as sit is currently not working.
I have owned this superb looking/ running Corvette for almost six years and covered around 7, 000 mainly dry miles. It starts, drives and handles really well and sounds superb.
Now a Historic vehicle (over 40 years old) therefore road tax is free.
