I'm advertising this little car on behalf of my neighbour who is 90 years old and 'doesn't do the internet'. She bought the car brand new in September 2011 and is the current and only owner. It would normally have a 61 registration but the personal plate is staying on the car. I suppose the most important thing to say is that the car has done a genuine 9, 465 miles from new and is in virtually 'as new' condition throughout. I took the car to MOT today and, unsurprisingly, it passed without any advisory items. In fact, if you check the MOT history, you will see that it has never had a single advisory in its entire life.
The car is automatic and has the 'manual' override feature on the gearbox and EVERYTHING on the car works faultlessly. This is as near to a new car as you could find without buying a new one. I took some photos of the underside during the MOT test; as you can see, it's is almost as new. I drove the car to it's MOT test today and it is lovely to drive and feels like a brand new car.
The car has been maintained fully by the local Toyota main dealer, in fact there has been a monthly maintenance plan on it although I don't think it has ever required any repair of any kind. The car has been garaged all its life and very seldom used in the rain. As you can see, the owner has kept mats in the car to protect the mats!
I've no idea what the fuel economy is but I'd imagine it is very frugal and the owner tells me the road tax is only £20 a year.
The car is the basic model with power steering, electric windows, stereo radio/ cd player, central locking (not remote) and has both keys and all the original brochures and documents with it.
The reason I'm dealing with the sale for the owner it that she is 90 and really doesn't want to be dealing with the sale personally and I didn't want to see her ripped off by the motor trade giving her next to nothing for the car. I am not the owner, I am not a dealer and the car will be sold by her and all monies paid to her. I will deal with viewings etc. on her behalf.
This would be a fantastic first car for a lucky young driver as it is in the lowest insurance group, very economic, with low road tax.
