Description
MGB Roadster in Inca yellow. Lots of work done since I have owned the car so drives very well with everything working as it should. I converted to chrome bumper and lowered the car to suit. I have changed most of the front suspension components including springs, wishbones, kingpins and roll bar which has been upgraded. The car has also had new discs and calipers to improve the braking. The rear springs were removed and cleaned/ painted before refitting with lowering kit. All bushes throughout bar the front leaf spring ones were changed to poly bushes which has made a huge difference to the handling, Rear brakes have had new shoes fitted. Wheels have been upgraded with 15" rims and new tyres from MGOC. The exhaust has been changed to a st stl unit and has a lovely sound. New headlights and spots have been wired using relays to improve the output. I have also fitted online fuses to the overdrive and rear loom circuits following a short in the fuel pump. So a new fuel pump and new rear loom have also been fitted. The carbs were removed and cleaned before fitting overhaul kits. I fitted a new clutch master and slave cylinder with new clutch flexible hose added. Inside the car has had a new steering wheel but otherwise not really been touched. Leather seats are in a good used condition with appropriate signs of age. Hood works and has a reasonably unmarked and clear rear window. There are a couple of studs missing but still keeps the car dry in heavy rain. The car also comes with an unused full tonneau and a half tonneau which I have had on the car. There are obviously a few blemishes and the odd paint bubble here and there if I was being picky, but very little work required to get ready for summer over the winter months. Or it could be enjoyed as it is as it still looks great. The rear bumper will need work before anything else as it was not as good as I would have liked coming off the donor car. I am the third owner of the car and have an extensive history file which has been built up over the years. I have been to quite a few shows with the car and cant remember ever seeing another yellow roadster at any of them. The car has never let me down yet. My biggest mistake in all the work I have done was to fit a new radio. I have never turned it on while driving as the best soundtrack is the engine noise.
