Description
With only 2 previous owners from new, this car is in very good condition with only very minor work required for it to be classed as excellent, including perhaps a re spray of the bonnet. The car has 12 months MOT which was carried out last week with no advisories. In the 2 years that we have had the car, we have replaced the front valence, front and rear bumpers, chrome trim, rear exhaust, suspension springs, headlamps, battery, both door mirrors with new remote mechanism, 4 new Ford wheel trims and had the carburettor serviced. She starts first time, every time and drives beautifully. We bought the car for our son as his first classic in August 2023 with 54, 468 recorded miles. The previous owner had purchased it from new and then sold it to his grandson who had lowered the suspension and fitted pepperpot alloy wheels (which we still have). Our Son wanted to return it to original specification hence the new suspension and fitting of original steel wheels etc. It really is like a time warp car inside, even the sun roof works perfectly and is leak free. It just requires a period Ford stereo for the full 80's look; we even replaced the gear knob for an original one. Very few 80's Fiestas are on the road now in this condition and are an appreciating classic.
