1991 VW Golf Driver 1. 6 - MOT Feb 26
The time has come for me to part with my Mk2 Golf as I am simply not using it enough. I have done a lot of work and preventative maintenance to it over the course of my ownership, including:
New Gear Linkages
Brake lines
Head Gasket (due to a minor coolant leak)
Full cooling system flush + Thermostat
Starter Motor
Alternator
Sump Gasket
New SSP Coilovers
K&N Air filter
Fresh oil service done recently
The car has also got a Weber 32/ 34 progressive carb and the previous owner also did new brakes all around and rear wheel bearings, only a couple thousand miles ago.
Rust wise it is in really good shape, the underside is good. The only point to note is that the bottoms of the doors. It will also need a front wheel bearing fairly soon as it has a bit of vibration.
All around it is in great shape, comes with stacks of history and records of all the work carried out, as well as loads of spare parts.
