My Father bought this 'headturning' beautiful Mini 2 years ago and has driven approximately 4000 miles in it over that time. Due to health reasons, it is no longer practical for him to continue driving it now.
There is a substantial folder of service history over its past 35 years, but more specifically, during this past 2 years, and recently, the following has been carried out:
New front tyres
New heater matrix
New brake pressure actuator
New OSF ball joint & Suspension sleeve.
Carberettor refurbishment ( now achieving 57mpg )
Full brake check and bleed last year.
New spark Plugs.
Carpets allow inspection below, which is very sound and clean.
Will come with a full tank of SuperUnleaded fuel and Haynes Workshop manual.
When I drive it, I notice it occasionally drops out in over-run when you cruise, but not in driving mode. Although that may be due to my driving?Despite owning a Sunbeam Alpine, my Father decided to buy this Headturner too at the age of 80! Having ignored the Alpine for the last 2 years, he has chosen to drive the Mini instead, but health reasons now mean a more practical car is now necessary
