My plan was to do a full underbody refurbishment and I acquired all the parts at great time and expense, all parts are new and are on a separate listing on Gumtree. For those that know this model of Celica, whilst fabulous, they did suffer from underbody corrosion. Stage one of my refurb was to strip and treat the underside and deal with some welding points. This work was meticulously carried out by a local garage specialising in such a repairs and cars of this type. The underside now presents very honestly with a clear coat rust proofing product applied and a light misting. I have included a couple of images of the completed part underbody refurb on my other parts listing for this car. Any welding repairs are clearly evident along with the quality of workmanship. The car could be simply used and enjoyed with a full years MOT. This listing is for the car only. My personal circumstances have changed and unfortunately, I will not be doing further work on this refurb which once complete will result in making a fabulous Celica even better and probably one of the best in country. The car now as it stands drives beautifully with a fresh 12 month MOT following the underside clean off and sealing. If the extensive parts were acquired on the separate listing, the new owner can pick up where I left off and create something really special for the future. The parts alone have a significant value and could if the new buyer wishes simply be sold on. With just a few owners from new including myself, the car comes with two keys and a very special set of TTE Toyota Team Europe alloy wheels with nearly new significant tread and matching tyres all the way round.
