Launched in 1999 and produced until 2003, the BMW Z8 E52 is a modern homage to the mythical 507 roadster that appeared in 1955. Designed by Henrik Fisker, it features elegant styling with sculpted lines, combining a long bonnet with a tucked-in cabin. Under the hood, the 4. 9L V8 from the M5 E39 develops 400 hp, propelling the Z8 from 0 to 100 km/ h in 4. 7 seconds. With only 5, 703 units built, it stands as an exclusive model, blending performance and refinement, and has today become a true collector’s piece.
Newly delivered in France and first registered on 11 July 2001, this Z8 sports an elegant Metallic Titanium Silver finish, contrasted by a bi-colour leather interior and a black roof. It has had only three owners and currently shows 89, 900 km on the odometer.
The interior is notable for its red and black leather upholstery in excellent condition, with heated and electrically adjustable seats. The dashboard, central console and door panels are fully clad in leather, enhanced by decorative inserts painted to match the bodywork. The roll hoops are leather-wrapped and the door sills are aluminium.
In terms of equipment, it has chromed exterior mirrors, xenon headlights and 18-inch aluminium wheels. Inside, there is climate control, an automatically dimming rear-view mirror and a Harman Kardon audio system. It is also equipped with navigation, a CD radio and built-in telephony. To fully enjoy the V8’s soundtrack, there is a valve-controlled exhaust system operable from the cabin with a button.
It comes with its black soft top and its tonneau cover, as well as its silver-coloured hard top.
The car has just undergone a full service, no maintenance costs are expected.
