Description
Capots Vintage, specialists in Sport & Collection vehicles in Lyon, presents this automobile to you—carefully selected and accompanied by a detailed presentation.
Launched in 1999 and built until 2003, the BMW Z8 E52 is a modern homage to the legendary 507 roadster that first appeared in 1955. Designed by Henrik Fisker, it features an elegant design with sculpted lines, combining a long bonnet with a set-back cabin. Under its bonnet, the 4. 9L V8 from the M5 E39 develops 400 hp, propelling the Z8 from 0 to 100 km/ h in 4. 7 seconds. With only 5, 703 examples produced, it has become a truly exclusive model—blending performance with refinement—and is now a genuine collector’s piece.
Supplied new in France and first registered on 11 July 2001, this Z8 is finished in an elegant Titanium Silver Metallic paint, complemented by a two-tone leather interior and a black soft top. It has had just three owners and currently shows 89, 900 km on the odometer.
Inside, it stands out with its red-and-black leather upholstery in excellent condition, featuring heated seats with electric adjustment. The dashboard, centre console and door panels are fully trimmed in leather, enhanced with decorative painted inserts matching the body colour. The roll hoops are leather-covered, and the door sills are in aluminium.
In terms of equipment, it has chrome exterior mirrors, Xenon headlights, and 18-inch aluminium wheels. In the cabin, you’ll find air conditioning, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and a Harman Kardon audio system. It is also equipped with a navigation system, a CD radio and an onboard telephone. To enjoy the full character of the V8, it features a valve-controlled exhaust system, operable from within the cabin via a button.
It comes with its black hood and tonneau cover, as well as its silver Hard Top.
The car has just undergone a full service inspection—no expense is anticipated.
