A fully restored Model B AJS 350cc, not the later Big Port but similar in many respects. A 1922 model first registered in early 1923. Only 2 previous owners. Restored some 5 years ago to a very high standard and retaining its original, transferable reg. number with matching engine and frame numbers. AJS brought this model onto the market following their extraordinary TT success in 1921 with 350cc machines. Powerful drum brakes and full chain drive was their secret to winning! It is a joy to have them on this model giving very effective braking on an early vintage bike, The engine is lively and having three gears is adequate for all conditions. A chance to buy a reliable vintage bike which starts easily and runs well and has very effective brakes very superior to most other vintage bikes of this era. It also comes with a very large 'history file' detailing all its 103 years of activity including many events attended and the trophies/ prizes won. Plus magazine articles, parts catalogues and 'how to manage' information photocopies of original leaflets. Its lovely condition attracts attention from everyone. A stunning example of an early vintage bike in excellent condition which is a joy to ride.
