For sale is my 2005 Mini Cooper S Supercharged in Chili Red.
It’s on pretty low-mileage for its age (114, 000) and comes complete with full service history. Drives very well, with the engine, gearbox, brakes etc all feeling strong with no issues. The supercharger whine is also present and correct (and addictive!)
The previous owners I bought the car from had owned it since 2007 and used it as their second car to runabout in. They loved it and were sad to see it go! I’ve used it as my second runabout/ weekend car for a bit too, as I’ve always fancied one of these supercharged Minis! But the itch has been scratched now and time to move on to something else.
Comes complete with extensive full service history (15 service stamps and supporting paperwork). Last serviced just under 2000 miles ago in February.
Has just been through an MOT and passed with no advisories. They did mention that the front tyres were getting towards being worn so have got some new run-flat ones fitted.
Quite a good spec too for one of these and for the age of the car:
Panoramic sunroof
Electric folding mirrors
Xenon lights with headlamp wash
Digital speedo
Parrot hands free system
Mini ‘Boost’ speaker system (surprisingly good!)
A couple of things to note with the car:
Has unfortunately succumb to the classic red lacquer peel on the front bumper and bonnet. Please see pictures. These ideally should be replaced or sprayed for the car to look its best
Wheels are in average condition and could do with a refurb really
Has recently developed an exhaust blow from somewhere - it’s not that loud but is something to look into
The interior headlining has come away near the windscreen, and some staining indicates a previous leak from the sunroof (no leaks at present and we've definitely had the weather to test that!)
I would address all of the above if I was keeping it - but I never keep a car too long as I like to move on and experience all kinds of different cars. Overall though I’ve very much enjoyed this car, and I’m sure the next owner will too!
I am located just outside Liskeard, Cornwall for viewings and I am generally available on weekday evenings and most weekends. If you are coming to view from a while away I can pick you up from Liskeard train station, or nationwide delivery is possible as I know someone with a car transporter.
