Description
Well here is something a bit special.
After over 10 years of ownership I have made the decision to part with my superb Eunos RS Ltd.
I am going to be a bit bold here and say this is probably one of the very best ones you will ever find. Even more so, if you are looking for one of these for an absolutely rock solid investment or to add to a collection. I know I will be kicking myself in a few years time when these will be achieving north of 20k for a very good one like this. Values are only going one way!
It is a 1994 RS Ltd with all the correct parts still with it - most importantly the carbon-kevlar Recaro seats which are in lovely original condition. The 15" OEM BBS wheels are ones I kept in safe storage to fit when the right time came. These have only just been put on and are in absolutely mint condition and were refurbished (Diamond cut) by the excellent Deepcar Autobodies. I have the original spanner for the caps too. I've just had, very carefully fitted, a new set of tyres to compliment the wheels and they are Uniroyal Rainsports.
The interior also has the original Nardi leather gear knob and steering wheel.
I am going to let the pictures mostly speak for themselves. I have over 100+ images available to anyone who'd like more! One thing I will say is the car has never had any paintwork during my ownership and therefore it's not concourse or freshly sprayed it's lovely and original and therefore does come with a degree of patina from a 31 year old car. By far the most important thing is it has never been welded or repaired.
It is running beautifully having just had a large amount of service work carried out by Steve at Sam Goodwin MX5 specialist's. Steve has kindly agreed to speak with any potential buyer as he has been over the car inside out and will give an honest opinion of it.
Here's what has been done in November this year (7/ 11/ 25 - invoice):-
New cambelt, water pump and tensioners
New Power steering belt
New Alternator belt
New Rocker Gasket
New Cam Angle Sensor O Ring
New Clutch Master Cylinder
Full Service including spark plugs
I also treated the car to a proper MX5 Westco battery, from MX5 Parts, which was fitted in March this year. Anyone who knows the quality of these will know it'll probably last a good 10 years. My last one did.
On 28th November the car was treated to a bespoke vehicle exterior and interior service by the fantastic JR Automotive Ltd. It included a single stage paint correction detail. This mainly involved the machine polishing of the paintwork to enhance the colour and remove some light swirl marks that were present. I was also lucky enough for the pictures to be taken courtesy of the company.
The car was imported into the UK in 2006. As with most imports it doesn't have a huge history file but I do have a folder of paperwork with the car including all the MOT's since it arrived here. The odometer reads in kilometers and was at 103, 895km at it's last MOT. approximately 64k miles. There is also a picture of the current odometer reading.
The current MOT expires on 25th April 2026. It also comes with 2 original keys, both with immobiliser fobs.
The specification includes being one of 500 made, finished in the stunning Montego Blue colour. It has the 1. 8 litre engine and from the factory had a lightened flywheel and a 4. 3 Torsen Limited Slip Differential. It comes with power steering, electric windows, electric aerial (which operates when the stereo is powered up) and electric mirrors. The air conditioning is surprisingly quite cold when operated.
This is a very special, rare car in wonderful original condition and low mileage. It is a lovely genuine example that has not been fettled with, modified or painted and in my opinion makes it all the more desirable. If you are in the market for one of these, I don't believe they get much better than this!
