Description
, a specialist in sports and collectible vehicles in Lyon, offers for sale a 1957 Triumph TR3:
Surnamed “little mouth” due to the shape of its grille, we offer a 1957 TR3, a first-series model, presented in its Signal Red colour with a black vinyl interior with white piping. The TR3As, produced between 1957 and 1962 with around 58, 236 units, are nicknamed “big mouth.” The TR3B, produced in 1962, saw around 3, 331 units built.
At the front, this British roadster features a bumper with two overriders, long-range headlights with badge shields and protective grilles over the lamps. At the rear, there are also two additional overriders as well as a luggage rack. Notably, our car rides on four pressed-steel wheels in the body colour, like the original TR3 models.
The interior is black with white piping and is in good condition, with seats recently retrimmed. The paintwork is in good condition, showing a touch of patina in a few places, which adds charm to the whole.
Mechanically, the 2. 0L engine has been recently serviced. Additionally, we performed a compression check, which was satisfactory.
It is sold with its two wind deflectors and its hood cover, and comes with a four-seat “collection” registration document.
