We are looking to sell our Mk5 Golf GTI that has been owned by my wife’s aunt from new, purchased brand new from Windrush Volkswagen, Slough. The car comes with the original sales receipt and a massive folder of maintenance and repair invoices, showing it has been lovingly looked after throughout its life.
The vehicle previously had a private registration, which explains any V5/ plate changes — all paperwork is now present and correct - the V5 is in our name.
The only reason for sale is that she can no longer drive a manual, hence the sale to us. We no longer have the capacity to store the vehicle, unfortunately therefore she is up for sale. The car has no mechanical faults and drives exactly as it should.
Importantly, the car has had the inlet camshaft repair carried out along with the cambelt at 132, 618 miles, which is a major job already done and a big plus for Mk5 GTI buyers.
